Summer Outdoor Concert Series for 2021
Three different types of concerts series are being held outdoors in New Albany from June – August. See details and dates here.
Natural Trail Concerts at Rose Run Park: Free musical playtime in the park on the 1st and 4th Fridays.
Second Sundays at the Library Garden: June – August, $15 per person
Scenic Overlook Concerts: 3rd Thursday of each month this summer, grab dinner from the Farmer’s Market food trucks to enjoy the free concert with members of the New Albany Symphony at the Scenic Overlook at the east end of Rose Run park.
John F. LaCorte Amphitheater at John Bishop Park. All concerts are from 6:30-8 p.m. Lawn blankets, chairs and snacks are encouraged.

Help us support the Delaware MASH Pantry by bringing a non-perishable food item to any concert at Gallant Woods this summer.
On Thursdays, August 5 and 12, the Mt. Vernon corridor of the King Lincoln District. This free concert series will run each week from 5-8 p.m. Events are family-friendly with vendors, food court, and a nearby playground.

The series will take place on a backdrop of the beautiful gazebo overlooking our gardens. Neighbors and hotel guests are invited to enjoy local cover bands while playing backyard activities at no cost. Guests are asked to leave their chairs and coolers at home as they will have the option to borrow chairs and purchase drinks and food. No reservation necessary but we ask that guests who choose to sit at the dining tables please purchase at least two drinks. Buckets of domestic and imported beers will be available for purchase.

August 12: GhostStory – Local cover band playing acoustic covers in all genres from pop to indie to rock.

The Licking Park District, in partnership with the City of Newark and the Licking County Commissioners, will be holding the Music at the Gazebo series this summer at the Licking County Children’s Home Memorial Park in Newark. The music will play on select Thursday evenings from 6PM – 9PM. A food truck will also be in attendance, so you can bring a picnic from home or purchase food. Bring a lawn chair or blanket!

On the 2nd Friday of the month during Franklinton Fridays, enjoy free summer concert series at Land-Grant Brewing! Every show highlights a local artist’s poster design and two Columbus performers.
This year the FFMS is featuring songs created by young students working with We Amplify Voices and a a variety of artists both musical AND graphic. Each installment features two amazing performances, a unique poster design, a one of a kind beer can and hands on family activities!

Touch-A-Truck will feature vehicles from Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, Madison Township Police Department, and Madison Township Fire Department, with live music and emcee Mike Walker.

The traditional Powell Festival will be held as a three-part concert series this year instead of a one-time annual weekend of festivities. The concert series will be held from 6-9 p.m. at Village Green Park, 47 Hall Street.

Concerts will be held in collaboration with the Downtown Powell Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) and will feature local food trucks from Delaware County. There will also be a beer garden in the park featuring local breweries.

The Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center of Worthington welcomes the community back onto the lawn with three public outdoor events in the summer of 2021. Each program will include a live musical concert followed by an outdoor film in partnership with the Gateway Film Center. Gates open at 6:00pm. Draft beer will be available for purchase before the concert. Food trucks will be available onsite for each date until 9:30pm.
The concert will begin at 7:00pm followed by the movie at 9:00pm. General seating is free for all ages. Preferred area near the band is $15 per person, children 12 and under are free with adult ticket purchase. Blankets and lawn chairs encouraged; no BYOB.

This Sunday evening concert series features an eclectic mix of performers and music styles. The concerts are free to the public and usually occur in front of the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center. Picnic with the Pops at Columbus Commons: Featuring National acts, Picnic with the Pops is such a fun experience. Tickets start at $10-$25, but you can bring your own picnic and alcoholic beverages to enjoy, which makes it more affordable than the typical concert experience. Food and beverages are also available for purchase.
Popcorn Pops with Columbus Symphony Orchestra: Fun concerts for kids at Columbus Commons with lots of activities and play. Tickets are $10-$12.

Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 5:30 pm: Outdoor Patriotic and Pops Concert including the premier of “Every Man A Hero” composed by Robert Munson of Westerville and honoring Ray Lamber, WW II Veteran. They will also be presenting the Richard Suddendorf Scholarship to a Westerville South High School student. Bring a picnic and enjoy the concert out on the lawn at the Alum Creek Amphitheater on Main St., in Westerville, OH. JazZoo Concert Series at the Columbus Zoo: TBA for 2020. Tickets for these concerts with Columbus Jazz Orchestra are $35 and include admission to the Zoo all day before the concert.
Goodale Park Music Series: tba for 2021. Sunday afternoons from 12:30 pm – 2 pm. Bring a picnic and a blanket and enjoy the music at the gazebo. There will be food carts selling food, live art, activities for kids, and more. See schedule here.
North Columbus Civitan Park of Roses: tba for 2021. Sundays at 7 pm at the Gazebo in the Park of Roses from May 19 -September 1. Concerts will move to the Shelter House for inclement weather. Free snow cones are available most nights beginning in June. Bring a blanket or chairs. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.
Lolli-Pops! Summer Children’s Concert Series tba for 2021. On Mondays, once a month at 10:30 a.m. at the Village Green Amphitheater.
Evenings on the Green at Ohio Village: tba for 2021. Select Thursdays from 5-8 pm. Relax and enjoy live music and a short conversation about the history of different music scenes in Columbus. Explore Ohio Village, play 19th century games on the village green and try out some old-fashioned crafts. Grab dinner from a local food truck or bring a picnic dinner. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be for sale (no outside alcohol is permitted). Drinks and snacks will also be available for sale in the John Hauck Foundation Welcome Center store. Evenings on the Green is included with pay-what-you-want admission. Ohio History Connection Members and children 3 and under are free. In the case of the rain, music will be played in Ohio Village Church.

Gahanna Creekside Live: tba for 2021. Select Fridays from June through August. Family friendly entertainment, dancing and adult beverage sales at Creekside, Gahanna. Acoustic performers will be playing throughout Creekside from 5pm to 7pm, headliner starts at 7 p.m.
