Take a Sunday to appreciate art at Columbus Museum of Art during Free Sundays at CMA, open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The free admission also includes all exhibitions, as well as The Wonder Room for families, Big Idea Gallery, and much more during free Sundays at CMA. Free Sundays are made possible by a PNC Arts Alive grant. You can also “pay want you want” on Thursdays from 5-9 pm.
There’s something for all ages; the Wonder Room is perfect for families with plenty of hands’ on activities for kids, and the Big Idea Gallery encourages imaginative play for everyone. You’ll also enjoy the art and exhibitions featuring world-renowned artists. See the current exhibitions here.
If you get hungry while you’re there, grab a bite to eat at the Schokko Art Café. This new artful concept from Cameron Mitchell Premier Events is located on the main floor of Columbus Museum of Art near the main entrance, and looks out onto the new sculpture garden.
CMA is also part of the Blue Star Museums Programs, so active military and their families get free admission. Simply show your active-duty military personnel or military family I.D. at the admission desk for free entry.
