UnderCurrent is a new event series set to take place directly under Current, the sky-high sculpture by artist Janet Echelman.

BAM UnderCurrent (Bar, Art, Music) with CMA

Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 5 pm – 8 pm, 9th Street and CMA’s West Garden

Columbus Museum of Art’s signature BAM series kicks off with a block party off 9th Street and CMA’s West Garden! Enjoy live music and creative art experiences with The Lectros, Ashley Martin,  Mary Jane Ward, Alexandra Valentino, ABA Art Gallery, and MegaBabe Entertainment. Explore offerings from Too Good Eats and Cotton Sugar Co., plus a cash bar, additional food options, and more.

This event is free to attend, registration is encouraged. Explore the galleries with complimentary admission from 5:00–9:00 PM.

More UnderCurrent programming is yet to be announced for the summer.
