Sunflowers season is highly anticipated in Central Ohio during which the sunflower unofficially officially becomes the flower of Instagram. The Coshocton Sunflower Festival brings all of the happiness and photo ops to a 4-acre field this August.

Heading in the 9th year of the festival, the Coshocton Sunflower Festival features over 50 varieties of sunflowers in the field! Take pictures, explore the field, and choose your favorite flower.
Coshocton Sunflower Festival Features
The Exotic Garden
The exotic garden will feature unique flowers in many shapes, sizes, and colors. These sunflowers are not to cut or for purchase.
The Wilds
The Wilds features 40+ varieties of sunflowers, and you’ll get to pick a stem (or many stems) of sunshine.
Each ticket holder gets to cut a sunflower of their choice. Need more than one? You can also pick a Bucket o’ Sunshine as an add-on to your experience at the festival. Fill up a whole bucket with sunflowers during your visit! This is an add-on that you can pre-purchase when you buy tickets online.
Bucket o’ Sunshine will also be available during the festival. Sunflower bundles of 6 or 12 are also available for additional purchase during the festival or can be pre-purchased when you buy tickets online.
Sea of Yellow
The “Sea of Yellow” is a huge field of 5-6 ft tall classic yellow sunflowers. Climb up the bridge and take all the photos you can in the beautiful sea.
Photo Props for Photo Ops
You’ll find antiques photo props throughout the festival that are perfect for your photo ops.
Food Trucks and Beer Garden
What’s a festival without food? There will be a variety of food trucks to choose from so you can spend more time at the field without getting hungry. There is also a beer and wine garden on select days.
