Race entry frees aren’t exactly cheap, but registering for races helps people stay accountable with a healthy lifestyle and exercise routine – and being healthy IS frugal. Find a race that supports a cause close to your heart, or that has the best swag bag. If you want to get into or keep your exercise routine consistent, signing up for a few races in advance may keep you on track.

- BCAN 1 mile Walk to End Bladder Cancer: May 11, 2019 at Fred Beekman Park. Registration is $25 Adults, $5 Children (under 18 years)
- St. Jude Walk/Run at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium: September 29, 2019. The registration fee to run is $20 and the walk registration is $10. Participants will also receive a free day pass to the Columbus Zoo with registration.
- Columbus Donut Run: October 27, 2019. Registration fee is $45-$50; Kids race for 8 and under is $15. The annual Columbus Donut Run features donut holes twice along the route, and donuts and coffee at the finish line. All baked goods will be provided by both local and national bakeries and donut shops. The Donut Run benefits Head and Neck Cancer Research at The James- OSUCCC. It is the original 5k that pays homage to the donut.
