Symphony music isn’t just for adults! The Columbus Commons is hosting Popcorn Pops with The Columbus Symphony this summer! It’s a great chance to show kids how fun this type of music can be!

These shows are perfect for families with children ages 3 – 12. Concerts feature free popcorn and pre-concert activities such as face painting, art projects, musical instruments and the Columbus Commons Family Fun Zone with inflatables and open play activities.
Gates open and pre-concert activities begin at 5:30 p.m. – get there early to snag a good picnic spot. Concerts begin at 6 p.m. and run for approximately one hour.
Concerts are FREE this year, thanks to sponsor, Honda.

June 26, 2026: Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, followed by a community screening of Zootopia 2 at dusk.
July 10, 2026: Symphonic Surprise!, following by a screening of Up!
If it’s hot, bring extra clothes for the kids, as there may be an inflatable waterslide again this year!
