There are a bunch of free concerts going on at the Columbus Commons this summer, so grab your dancing shoes and head to the Commons with friends for some outdoor music. Bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs, but leave the coolers at home – drinks and food will be available for purchase.

Friday, May 17: FREE Blues Traveler Concert Presented by CDDC and CAPA for the Common Ground Concert Series. Note: All tickets have been claimed.
Sunday, May 26: FREE Shadowbox Live Performance Leather and Lace. No tickets required. Shadowbox Live® celebrates the history of hard-working, hard-playing, hard-rocking women of rock ‘n’ roll music with Leather and Lace: A Musical Tribute to the Women of Rock. Bar and food trucks open at 6:00 PM, Music begins around 8:00 PM.
Saturday, June 1: Summer 614 brings some of your favorite R&B and hip hop artists from yesterday and today to Columbus Commons. With music, food, drinks and vendors you won’t want to miss it. Check the event website for music lineup and more information. Tickets are required and start at $25-$35 for GA. 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Thursday, June 6: Harmony Project Presents: The Concert For Community features an opening act, the Columbus Children’s Choir, Harmony Project’s 500-voice, non-auditioned community chorus and 40 local musical artists as part of the Harmony Band and Orchestra.
Harmony Project’s Concert for Community is free to the public and starts at 7:30 pm. However, the production expenses, security, and video add up to more than $150,000 budget. Please consider a donation when you claim your free ticket(s). Tickets are required and can be reserved here.

Saturday, August 3: FREE Concert featuring The Navigators, presented by Hertz Investment Group. Bar and food trucks open at 6:00 PM. Music will begin at 7:00 PM. No tickets are required
Free event featuring the Navigators, a group comprised of Columbus executives and professionals playing high-energy rock tunes from the 1960s to today. Since their formation in 2003, they have helped to raise more than $200,000 to help local and national charities.
Saturday, August 8: Common Grounds Concert featuring Boyz II Men, presented by CDDC and CAPA. Free tickets are required to attend this concert, and are available during limited releases on select dates. See here for details and ticket link. Saturday, August 31: St. Paul and the Broken Bones. FREE concert produced by CDDC & Capitol South. No tickets are requred for this FREE concert produced by CDDC & Capitol South. Bar and food trucks will open at 5:30pm. Music begins with local legends The Spikedrivers with St. Paul and The Broken Bones to follow. Blankets and chairs are welcome; please leave coolers at home. Beverage sales and food trucks are available on site.
