Get into the holiday spirit in the quaint Village of Granville with the Village Tree Lighting and Christmas Candlelight Walking Tour.
Homes and businesses will also be participating in a Christmas Light contest, so you can be sure to see some beautifully decorated properties through the whole holiday season.
Events have been planned to make them as safe as possible, and spread out over a couple of days to reduce the amount of visitors per day. As such, all events are subject to change throughout this season, so check links before you attend.
Granville Village Tree Lighting
On Sunday, November 27, 2022, gather together to kick off the holiday season with the official lighting of the Granville Christmas Tree at 5 pm. The tree is located at the median on Broadway west of Main. Cookies and hot cocoa will be provided.
Granville Candlelight Walking Tour
The annual Christmas Candlelight event is the first Saturday of the month, Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 1-4 pm.
Head to this quaint Hallmark-like Christmas town to celebrate the season. A tradition for 36 years, the sidewalks on Broadway, Prospect, and Main Streets will be lined with glimmering Christmas trees.
Find special gifts at unique shops, and dine in the amazing restaurants. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, holiday music at area churches, or visit our museums and businesses that host special events.
More details of the event will be available soon.
