Granville Village Tree Lighting

Sunday, December 1, 2024. Gather together to kick off the holiday season with the official lighting of the Granville Christmas Tree at 5 pm. The tree is located at the median on Broadway west of Main. More details for 2024 tba.

Granville Candlelight Walking Tour

The annual Christmas Candlelight event is the first Saturday of the month, Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1-9 pm. Shops open at 10 am.

Head to this quaint Hallmark-like Christmas town to celebrate the season. A favorite tradition for many, the sidewalks on Broadway, Prospect, and Main Streets are lined with glimmering Christmas trees.

Find special gifts at unique shops, and dine in the amazing restaurants. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, holiday music at area churches, or visit our museums and businesses that host special events.

Shop at the European-style Christmas market at Opera House Park from 1:00-6:00pm with local vendors bringing treasures, gifts, and goodies for you to browse.

Timed events that have become family favorites occur at locations around town, such as children’s events, Santa at the folly, Lego display at the library, theatre and music at Denison University, and musical attractions at local businesses.
