Grove City will light up with the Grove City Christmas Celebration, on Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. This family-friendly festival will feature live music, Santa visits, ice sculpting, reindeer, traditional carols, a parade, and the official Grove City tree lighting.
Santa at Grove City Christmas Celebration
Children can meet Santa in the George Edge Music Park on Broadway, and parents can take their own photo or receive one for a $5 contribution to T.W.I.G. 184 benefiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Donations of money, food or personal hygiene products for the Grove City Food Pantry and of toys and gift cards for the Jackson Township Firefighters for Kids holiday toy program also are accepted on the plaza.
Grove City Christmas Mistletoe Market
The Mistletoe Market will be going on throughout Grove City Town Center from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and will feature plenty of festive crafts and other merchandise and food for sale. The market will feature a Secret Santa children shop in the Grove City Museum for kids to purchase gifts for siblings and parents.
Historic Christmas Tour
Celebrate an afternoon of old-style holiday fun on the Historic Christmas Tour from 1 to 5 p.m. Stop by Century Village, 4185 Orders Road; the Grant-Sawyer Home, 4126 Haughn Road; or the Grove City Museum, 3378 Park St., to enjoy a ride to each destination. Tours end at 4:30 p.m.
Grove City Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade
From 6-8 pm, enjoy live music and visit with reindeer at Civic Place and Broadway. The Grove City Christmas Parade will begin at 7 p.m. and feature floats decorated in Christmas lights, with the Town Center tree lighting with Santa immediately after the parade.
