Join the City of Dublin as they kick off the 2021 holiday season with the annual Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
2021 Dublin Christmas Tree Lighting
The City of Dublin invites all to enjoy seasonal activities and entertainment, including letters to Santa, crafts, holiday stilt walkers, ice sculpting, trackless train, and character appearance. There will also be food available for purchase.
Santa will arrive on a horse-drawn sleigh with Mrs. Claus to light the tree at 6:40 p.m. Santa will stick around for photos after the tree lighting.
The Washington Township Fire Department collecting new, unwrapped toys, gift cards and monetary donations for the Firefighters 4 Kids Toy Drive at the Coffman Pavilion. Donations will also be accepted from Nov. 30 through Dec. 24 at the following locations:

- 5825 Brand Road – Station 93
- 5750 Blazer Parkway – Station 95
“Old Fashioned Christmas” at the Coffman Homestead
Join the Dublin Historical Society for an “Old Fashioned Christmas” at the Coffman Homestead on December 2 from 4:30 – 7 pm. The twinkle of candles and sounds of the season will put you in the holiday spirit. Festive decorations created by the Muirfield Village Garden Club reflect the classic holiday theme “White Christmas.”
Take a free tour of the home’s parlor, dining room, and farm kitchen livened up for the holidays by the award-winning Garden Club. The Coffman barn will also be open for free tours and will feature the “one-horse sleigh” decorate with gift boxes and holiday trapping for family photo opportunities.
Historical Society volunteers will be on-hand to share the history of the farmstead, answer questions, and assist with photos at the sleigh. All activities are free, yet donations are encouraged and welcome!

12 Elves of Dublin Scavenger Hunt
December 1 – December 23, 2021. Pick up your 12 elves card at one of the participating downtown locations, and then search through the shops of Historic Dublin to find the 12 Elves. When your kiddo finds the elf at each stop, have the entry card signed. Collect them all and return your completed card to one of the retailers. Grand Prize drawing will take place on December 29.
Dublin Holiday Park Hunt
December 1-23, 2021. Find the 12 holiday elves in Coffman Park! These “new city workers” are making special gifts in the park. Try to spot them all! Details here.
New Ice Skating Rink at Riverside Crossing
Dublin Ice Rink at Riverside Crossing, 6635 Riverside Dr.
Open December 17, 2021 through mid-March 2022. Cooling system allows rink to be used in temperatures up to 60 degrees.
Admission is $10 and includes skate rental. Guests can bring their own ice skates, but admission is still $10. Only contactless payments such as debit and credit will be accepted. Always check the City of Dublin website to ensure the rink is open or to verify hours
