Join the City of Dublin for the Annual Dublin Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at from 5 – 7 p.m. at Coffman Park (5600 Emerald Parkway), with Santa’s Grand Entrance at 6:30 pm.
Enjoy seasonal activities and entertainment including writing letters to Santa and ornament making, roaming holiday stilt walkers, ice sculpting, and character appearances. Visit Santa’s reindeer at the Reindeer Rest Stop at the Coffman Barn, and watch for the arrival of Santa on a horse-drawn sleigh with Mrs. Claus to light the tree at 6:40 p.m. Santa may be on-hand for pictures after the main event.
New this year is a trackless train running in the City Hall parking lot sponsored by Hilliard Lawn and Garden.
The Dublin Historical Society will showcase a “Victorian Christmas” in the Fletcher Coffman House and Homestead. The barn will be open with a decorated sleigh offering the perfect photo opportunity.
The Washington Township Fire Department will be on-site at City Hall taking donations of new or unused toys benefitting Toys for Tots.
Holiday refreshments will be available for purchase, including hot chocolate and other food items from Chick-Fil-A and Mauger’s Donuts.
