Celebrate the season in Grandview Heights with the Holiday Tree Lighting on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 3 – 8 p.m. at Grandview Ave between 1st Ave and 3rd Ave.
Grandview Heights Holiday Tree Lighting
Arrive early to enjoy the free iceless ice rink from 3:00-8:00; they’ll have skates available to borrow! Each participant must sign a waiver prior to skating. You can also watch the ice sculpture demonstration and visit the reindeer starting at 5 pm.
Santa will be available for free visits from 5:30 – 8 pm, while guests enjoy performances from Grandview Heights High School Band and Grandview Heights High School Choir. The tree lighting is at approximately 7:15 pm.
Other activities include holiday shopping, local food, and a coloring contest presented by Pathways Financial Credit Union.
Bring your letter to Santa (or write it while you are there) to drop in Santa’s Mailbox and receive a letter in return. Find more details about letters to Santa (or letters to other library friends) here.
Bubbles the Elf will offer a free daily activity, hosted by Grandview Heights Public Library.
Clay Café will have ornaments available for purchase that can be decorated at event and fired at the Cafe for pickup on a later date. Boy Scout Troup 73 is selling live Christmas Trees too!
