You may feel like hibernating in the cold weather, but winter is the perfect time to hit the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium!
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is offering 50% off admission discount from January 7 through February 28, 2019 to show their appreciation for the great support they received in 2018. They are also offering free admission on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Jan 21) and President’s Day (Feb 18).
Columbus Zoo admission rates from January 7 – February 28 for Franklin County residents are $8.50 for general admission, $5.99 for children ages 3-9 and $5.99 for senior citizens 60 years and over. Residents from other counties is $2.50 more. There is also an $10 per car parking charge for non-members. Children under three years of age and Columbus Zoo members are always free during regular operating hours. The Zoo will be open every day from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. through February.
The winter months are an excellent time to visit the Zoo to see the animals who thrive in the colder weather. There are also plenty of indoor habitats to check out while you get a break from the cold.
Additional discounts include:
Tuesdays: Seniors (ages 60+) receive half price admission to the Zoo
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays: Franklin County residents receive half price admission to the Zoo. Valid ID must be presented at time of purchase.
Military Discount: Active and Non-active duty military personnel receive a $2 discount on up to 6 tickets when they show a valid military ID.
