The CAPA Summer Movie Series is back! The 56th series of classic films and cult favorites will run at the Ohio Theatre, and feature 19 films over 6 weeks.
Don’t miss your chance to see these great films on the big screen in America’s longest running classic film series at the stunning Ohio Theatre.
The 2025 Series runs from July 13 – August 24 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State Street).
Highlights include 28 films, including a silent film with live musical accompaniment, Fright Nite Friday, and two Saturday mornings of classic cartoons.
Arrive early to enjoy featured organist for the CAPA Summer Movie Series, Clark Wilson as he provides pre-show entertainment at the keys of the Ohio Theatre’s treasured “Mighty Morton” theatre organ 30 minutes prior to each screening.

CAPA Summer Movie Series Tickets
10 Packs of Summer Movie Series tickets are available for $40 (a savings of $2 per ticketing off day-of-show prices). Purchase 10 Packs through August 3, 2025. Ten Pack tickets are valid for any film in any combination.
Single tickets are $6, and on sale starting June 2. Single tickets may be purchased in advance, OR day-of-show at the CBUSArts Ticket Center beginning one hour prior to show time. Senior citizen tickets are $5. Day-of-show tickets can be purchased with cash OR card!
Ohio Theatre and Palace Theatre Tours
Tours are back for the 2025 Summer Movie Series!
Join CAPA for a behind-the-scenes look at the historic Ohio Theatre with free, one-hour, guided tours complete with a light show and organ demonstration by Clark Wilson on the “Mighty Morton” theatre organ presented by Ice Miller. Reservations are required and space is limited.
To make a reservation, send an email to sms@capa.com with the number of people in your party and preferred tour date. Tours include stairs. Tours do not go on stage or backstage.
