The CAPA Summer Movie Series is back! The 52nd series of classic films and cult favorites will run at the Ohio Theatre, and feature 21 films over six weeks.

The 2021 Series will run July 22-August 29, 2021 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State Street) and feature 21 films. Arrive early to enjoy featured organist for the CAPA Summer Movie Series, Clark Wilson as he provides pre-show entertainment at the keys of the Ohio Theatre’s treasured “Mighty Morton” theatre organ 30 minutes prior to each screening.

CAPA Summer Movie Series Tickets
Purchase the CAPA Summer Movie Series ticket strips now through Friday, August 13. Strips of 10 tickets are $35, a savings of $2.50 per ticket off day-of-show prices. Phone orders for strip tickets can be placed by calling (614) 469-0939. Strip tickets are good for any film in any combination – present your tickets to an usher at the Ohio Theatre for admittance to any film on the Series throughout the summer.
Day-of-show tickets to individual films are $6 and go on sale one hour prior to show time at the Ohio Theatre kiosk. Senior citizen tickets are $5. Kiosk sales are cash only.
Safety procedures for CAPA Summer Movies
Face coverings at CAPA venues are optional unless otherwise enacted by a health order or by law. We continue to employ enhanced, deep-cleaning procedures and increased fresh air intake through the HVAC system. Hand sanitizer stations are available in the lobbies and outside of restrooms. Those exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms or who may have been exposed to someone presenting symptoms in the 14 days prior to an event are asked not to attend.
