A true gem in the thriving East Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, Land-Grant features a taproom and an amazing beer garden that is full of fun all year round!

In addition to their own rotating beers on tap, you can also enjoy several cocktail and cider options!

Rom-Com Trivia and Movie Series

Fall head over heels every Tuesday in the Land-Grant Taproom! For 6 straight weeks, we’re bringing you Trivia with Travis and feel-good laughs with your favorite romantic comedies. Trivia: 6:30 PM sharp; Movie Showtime: Immediately after.

Palentine’s Day Candle Making Class with Penn & Beech

February 12, 2025 (3 time slots)

Pour your own custom-scented 9oz candle! You’ll design your label and mix your oils to create your truly unique custom scent, which you’ll then pour and stir. While the candles cool, sip on a beer, cider or draft cocktail from Land-Grant Extension. 

Your $35 ticket includes your custom 9oz candle and your first drink. Details HERE.

Land-Grant Brewing Company Wintergarden

The Wintergarden at Land-Grant Brewing transforms their popular beer garden into a cozy, cold-weather oasis, perfect no matter the weather! See some of the options below, and make reservations on the website. Wintergarden opens on November 25, but reservations are available now!

Throughout the winter there are gas-powered fire pits on our patio and throughout the beer garden. Enjoy your beer under the stars while keeping toasty. 

Heated Igloos

The Wintergarden features private, heated igloos that can be reserved for groups. Hang out in your own private snow globe with friends and family while enjoying drinks in a cozy environment. 

Igloos seat up to 8 people. Reservations are for 2 hours. Walk-ins are accepted at the taproom bar for unreserved igloos on a first come, first served basis at the bar. Igloos include heaters and are self-service at the bar.  Igloos are kid and dog friendly. ALL WELCOME! Note that the brewery is 21+ after 8pm. 

These book up in advance! $25 per igloo Monday – Thursday + Sunday; $35 per igloo Friday + Saturday. 

ICE Bumper Cars at Land-Grant

Enjoy a winter version of a classic amusement ride! ICE Bumper Cars are back at Land-Grant’s Gravity Park, just steps from the Wintergarden.

Ten cars will slip, slide, and crash during 10 minute rides; $10 per car. Book in advance! Prime times are booking now; opens November 25! Kids must be at least 60 lbs and 48 inches tall to ride solo, 300 lb max weight.

Before and after your ride, warm up at the Land-Grant Extension in Gravity Park, offering 12 taps of small-batch beers, cider, draft cocktails, and winter drinks like hot chocolate and mulled cider.

Brewery Curling at Land-Grant

Try your hand at Brewery Curling, using mini kegs as stones. Curling is available in both the Land-Grant Beer Garden and Gravity Park (near the Ice Bumper Cars).

Rules are similar to bocce in that the team with the keg closest to the center of the target scores, and gets a subsequent point for each keg they have closer to the center than the opposing teams closest keg. (or scrap the scoring and just have fun!)

Lanes are reserved for 90 minutes for 2+ people at $75 per lane. This includes a heated igloo with QR code ordering and delivery.

Trivia and a Movie Tuesdays
Every Tuesday during Beer Garden season, Travis Hoewischer will kick things off with pop-culture trivia at 6:30 PM with bonus questions themed around our movie of the night. Following trivia, we immediately start into our movie.

Wine Wednesdays
Raise a glass every Wednesday at The Extension with Wine Wednesday! Get a head start on your weekend with $10 off any bottle or $2 off any glass. 

Trivia Thursdays
Music trivia hosted by What The Funk Music Trivia, starting at 7p. (expect Christmas music during the season!)

OSU Watch Parties
All Ohio State Football games are playing on the big screen. Cold beer, food trucks, live DJ’s, and Buckeye football!

Sunday Football
Catch the Browns and Bengals on the big screens in the Beer Garden (held inside during inclement weather). Enjoy pitcher specials and game day eats with the food trucks. 

F1 Raceday
Land-Grant is THE place to watch Formula 1® races. Doors open 30 minutes prior   Join us for RACEDAY excitement, featuring all the Grands Prix on our big screens. Doors open 30 minutes prior to race starts, so you won’t miss any action! Note: Races that begin after midnight will replay at 11 am. 

Land-Grant Brewing Co. Tours

Free tours of the brewery our available via our taproom on Saturdays at 3pm. No need to buy tickets or RSVP, just arrive at the taproom at about quarter ’til 3.

Land-Grant Non-Adult Policy

Leashed and well-behaved dogs welcome outside in the Beer Garden and patio. Service animals only inside. Land-Grant is family-friendly until 8pm, 21+ after 8pm. Children must be closely supervised at all times.

The outdoor adult playground, Land-Grant at Gravity Park, has been a HUGE success on the Franklinton Campus. Enjoy live music, pickleball, hoops, special events and more!

Reserve a Bungalow at Gravity Park—just steps from the main Land-Grant Beer Garden for just $25 plus tax for 2 hours. Kick back in a shaded, laid-back space with friends while enjoying the amenities at Land-Grant.

Experience park activities are only available through October 20, when the area begins the transformation into the winter activities.

Boundless Halloween Costume Party

October 25, 2024 at 6 pm. Celebrate spooky season while supporting I Am Boundless, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral challenges.
Enjoy costumes, laughs, and brews, including the debut of the special Boundless Brew crafted for the event. Details.

Pup-O-Ween: Land-Grant Spooky Dog Party

October 29, 2024 from 6 pm – 10 pm. Dress up your furry friends and bring them to the beer garden for a spooktacular dog costume contest! Show off your pup’s cutest, creepiest, or funniest costume for a chance to win  prizes! The costume contest kicks off at 6:00 PM, with prizes awarded to the best-dressed pups.

Stick around for spooky trivia in the beer garden followed by a screening of Hocus Pocus. Details.

Land-Grant’s Holiday Bar

Opens Friday, November 8! The taproom turns into a winter wonderland. Enjoy the over-the-top holiday decor and holiday cheer. Sip on seasonal beers and holiday cocktails served in festive glassware.

Every Tuesday night in the taproom for holiday-themed trivia, and classic holiday movies. Trivia starts at 6:30 pm, followed by the movie.

NYE at Land-Grant

Ring in the new year at Land-Grant! Whether you’re looking to cozy up in a heated igloo, glide into 2025 with ice bumper cars, or curl with your crew, we’ve got a package to match your vibe. Booking is less than $200 for groups of 8, so it’s less than $25 per person. Spots are filling up!

Ice Bumper Car and Land-Grant Taproom + Extension Table Package: Includes one ice bumper car ride, your first beer, cider or draft cocktail, and a table at either the Land-Grant Taproom or Extension.

Curling + Igloo Package: Includes a curling lane & heated igloo with drink delivery service via QR code and 1 bottle of Prosecco. Igloos fit 6-8 people but you’re welcome to bring additional people.
