National Night Out serves to promote safer communities by bringing together neighbors, police, and firefighters, and is celebrated the first Tuesday of August.
Many of the events feature free food, live music, and other fun features. Kids will get to interact with, and watch demonstrations by police officers and firefighters. See more details here.

North YMCA National Night Out
Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 5 pm- 8 pm at North YMCA, 1640 Sandalwood Place

Meet the officers who serve Upper Arlington, check out cruisers and fire trucks, games, and giveaways. Try your hand at archery with the Ohio Division of Wildlife’s archery trailer, enjoy soccer activities with Upper Arlington Parks & Recreation and participate in games, challenges and hands-on experiences.

Clinton Estates National Night Out
TBA starting at 6pm at Trinity United Church of Christ (1180 Shanley Dr.). This event will not only be used to promote safety in the neighborhood but hopefully also will recruit new families and residents to become involved with CECA.
Meet with officers, enjoy face painting for kids, and more. Clinton Estates Civic Association will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. Those attending are asked to bring their own chairs and a side dish and/or dessert to share.
Clinton Estates is the area between Maize Rd and Karl Rd on the East/West, and Cooke Rd and Morse Rd on the North/South.
