Mitchell’s Berries LLC, located in Plain City, is a destination you’ll want to put on your Spring and Summer bucket list. With strawberries and a variety of raspberries (u-pick depending on crop availability each year), plus special farm events, this family farm is a fun place for all ages.
Crop availability and u-pick varies, so check on the website or Facebook page for updates, or call the number listed below. It’s always important to check the day you intend to go, as weather and crowds can affect availability hour to hour.
Details for expected crop dates will be update in Spring, once availability can be determined. Mitchell’s Berries uses both organic and conventional products to fight disease, weeds and bugs to produce high quality produce.

One thing that sets Mitchell’s Berries apart from other area farms is that they offer so many fun, special events throughout the season. Some book up quickly, so sign up when available if required.
Summer Tea Party
Date tba 2:00-4:00
Join the “Berry Fairy” for a garden tea party on the farm. This event is designed for little girls & their favorite “big” girl. You’ll enjoy a manners lesson, a tale with Miss Spider & treats from the farm. Space is limited to 24
Dairy Day at a Berry Farm
Paul grew up on a dairy farm and continues to manage a large dairy. We want to share hands on about the dairy world. During our regular Saturday pick we invite you to take a sneak peak at the dairy industry. You can milk Elsa, the cow, see a live calf, and enjoy some milk and donuts. We’ll have some fun dairy prizes as well as answer any of those confusing dairy questions you may have.
Sunrise and Sunset Yoga at Mitchell’s Berries
Sunset Yoga – May 13 and May 20 at 6:30 pm
Sunrise Yoga – May 22 and June 13 at 7:30 am
Grab your yoga mat and enjoy sunrise or sunset yoga on the farm. You will be led in a relaxing 45 minutes of mind, body and spirit. A 3 person sign-up minimum is required for class to be held. Bring your favorite beverage to enjoy. A farm treat provided. Walk-ins welcome! Check the website to see if additional dates have been added.
Art on the Farm
$30 includes all supplies, instruction & a complimentary “berry” treat. You are welcome to bring your beverage of choice and snacks. Limited to 25

FarmFeasts: A farm to table supper club
Experience an authentic farm to table community meal on the farm. You’ll enjoy local and seasonal ingredients brought to the table in rustic elegance. Registration is typically $50, unless otherwise noted. Check the website for future scheduled dates.
Schoolhouse at Mitchell’s Berries
Want to STAY at Mitchell’s Berries? They have a new Air BnB you can reserve!
Book the Schoolhouse at Mitchell’s Berries for a fun and unique staycation. The Bed & Breakfast is remodeled from a 1800 one-room schoolhouse, and offers 2 bedrooms (booked separately); each bedroom with a private bath. No children under 12, or pets. Owners live on-site.
