Free Summer Kids Movies at Strand Theatre

The Strand Theatre in Delaware is offering Free Summer Kids Movies on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., June 6 – August 1, 2023. 

The theatre will be collecting needed items or money for a different charity each week if you’d wish to make a contribution. See the schedule below to see which charity is being supported each week.  

Free Summer Kids Movies at Strand Theatre Schedule

June 6: DC League of Superpets
Charity – Humane Society of Delaware County (canned puppy food, canned pumpkin, Churu cat treats, Ziplog bags, kleenex 13-gal trash bags)

June 13: Lyle Lyle Crocodile
Charity – Big Brothers/Big Sisters Delaware County (Gas and grocery gift cards)

June 20: Minions Rise of Gru
Charity – People in Need (Non-perishable food)

June 27: Puss in Boots
Charity – Turning Point (children’s pajamas, kids summer clothing, fidgets, and baby-teen socks)

July 4: NO MOVIE

July 11: Spy Kids
Charity – Delaware Public Health WIC (new packages of diapers)

July 18: The Bad Guys
Charity – Grace Clinic Delaware (Clorox wipes and ink pens)

July 25: Sonic 2
Charity – Andrew’s House (Toiletry and personal care items, individually wrapped snack items, and paper products)

August 1: Marcel the Shell with Shoes on
Charity – Delaware County Kiwanis Club (school supplies)
