Bexley Community Yard Sale & Freecycle Weekend
This year, the community Yard Sale/ Freecycle includes Sunday! This all-weekend event will help buyers visit more locations and will allow community members who wouldn’t otherwise be able to participate on Saturdays.
This annual event is a great opportunity for residents to discard unwanted, usable items and re-home them to neighbors. Conversely, residents are able to obtain new-to-them items for a fraction of the price. In addition to keeping items out of the landfill, these events allow residents the opportunity to mingle and enjoy the outdoors!
Community Yard Sale
Saturday 5/6 and Sunday 5/7 from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Any resident may host a yard sale if they register. Yard sales may be held in the front yard for this one day only, but may not be held on or in front of the sidewalk or in the street. Registration is free!
Community Freecycle Event
Saturday 5/6 and Sunday 5/7 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The Community Freecycle event will run on both days from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. During these hours, residents may place items that are unsold between the sidewalk and the curb; you may choose to have your items out for any length of time during this window. Items that do not fit in this area may be placed directly behind the side walk (between the sidewalk and the house). Items or groupings of items must be clearly marked as free for the taking and must be marked “Freecycle Day.”
Any items not taken by 5:00 pm on Sunday must be removed from the front yard and disposed of or recycled via other means.
