Lights at Pastime Park
Beginning November 24, 2025 – January 4, 20256
The free drive-through display features thousands of Christmas lights along with holiday characters. Tune to 89.5 FM radio to enjoy the synchronized sights and sounds.
Route 42 Holiday Hop
December 6 from 9 am – 12 pm. Visit various businesses in the village to participate in their Christmas themed activities! Highlights include;
- Ace Hardware – Pictures with Santa, Donuts and Hot Chocolate, Bake Sale Held by St. Joseph’s Catholic Church
- Pleasant Valley Fire Department – Fire Dept. Open House and Touch-a-Truck
- Richwood Bank – Merry Berry Smoothie Samples; Make-and-Take Ornaments
- Paisans Coffee and Ice Cream – Activities for Kids, Samples, Special drinks and Ice Cream, Discounts on Gifts
- Middlefield Bank – Refreshments and Cookies from The Ribbon Box, Drawing for a Three-Piece Luggage Set
- Carlisle Gifts (Dutchman Hospitality Group) – Prize Drawings and ‘Find The Piggle’ Event (Find a Pig – Spin for Special Discounts)
Christmas Under the Clock
Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa Parade
December 6, 2025. The evening kicks off at 4 pm. You’ll enjoy live music and entertainment, carolers, business open houses, and craft and food vendors. There will be carriage rides to see the lights at Pastime park, and SANTA will be there for pictures! Tree lighting ceremony starts at 5 pm, and will last until 6 pm.
Following the Christmas Under the Clock event from 7:30PM-8:30PM, Santa’s Parade will bring joy throughout Plain City! Full details here.
Santa’s Mailbox
Santa’s Mailbox Uptown at Bicentennial Park is available starting November 24, 2025. Every child who drops off a letter will receive a magical response directly from the North Pole! No postage is required. Letters due December 14, 2025 at 4:00 PM in order to receive a response.
Holiday Lights Recycling Program
November 28 – January 4, 2025
Drop off old or broken holiday lights at the Municipal Building, 800 Village Blvd., from November 29 through January 5, 2025 for FREE recycling! Look for the specially-marked recycling bins, available 24/7. Please do not place holiday lights in plastic bags, boxes, or other containers.
