Bring the family downtown on Thursday, December 2, 2021 for the Ohio Statehouse Tree Lighting and Holiday Festival, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Capitol Square complex.
The free, family-friendly holiday festival kicks off with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at the Ohio Statehouse. The lighting of the historically-decorated Statehouse Tree will commence before the celebration continues back inside. Refreshments are typically provided, and there will be activities, historical characters, and special performances from local choirs.
If you don’t make it down for the event, stop back throughout the season to see the beautiful lights at the Ohio Statehouse, Columbus Commons, Scioto Mile, and Christmas Corner – all in Downtown Columbus.

I’m not affiliated with the event, but I believe they have the performances scheduled months in advanced.
