Shepherd’s Corner, a ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Peace, is a 160 acre farm and ecological center in Blacklick, Ohio. In addition to chemical-free gardens, chickens, sheep, a llama, a turf labyrinth, greenhouses, beehives, and a system of walking trails, Shepherd’s Corner offers events throughout the year, like their Maple Syrup Tours.
Upcoming Maple Syrup Tours
Shepherd’s Corner has adjusted their 2021 Maple Syrup Tours to make these fun and educational events safe for all participants. This year, they are offering small group maple sugaring tours. Tours are two hours long, and are limited to 8 participants. Book your group for $50.
Learn about maple sugaring from tree sap out the tap, to syrup on your pancakes. See the boiling process, and taste the syrup, and more! Please plan to wear a mask.
Maple Syrup season is dependent on weather, and they will be booking groups starting late winter 2021. To get notified when booking begins, email scecologycenter@gmail.com, call (614) 866-4302, or fill out the form on the website.
