If you love bourbon or want to try it without spending a lot of money, don’t miss the Annual Bourbon Tasting in Grove City. On Saturday, August 11 from 1 – 10 p.m., you can try 8 different bourbons for $20.
The tasting will take place at Grove City Town Center on the corner of Broadway and Columbus Street. With over 40 bourbons to select from, you’re sure to find a new favorite.
What’s the difference between bourbon and whiskey? A whiskey is considered “bourbon” when it is made from at least 51% corn, which provides sweetness, plus rye or barley grains. Bourbon is aged in new, oak-charred barrels for at least two years. Mix it with soft drinks, water, ice, or enjoy neat – or enjoy it in a cocktail, like a Mint Julep or an Old Fashioned.
The Boondogglers will perform from 5- 7:30 pm, followed by American Vinyl until 9:30 pm. You can enjoy Pompeii’s Inferno wood fired pizza, Posh Nosh cultured food offerings, and food from other great vendors. Burning Leaf Cigars will be on hand to offer a variety of excellent cigars.
