Christmas in Obetz: Tree lighting, Santa, Holiday lights, and more

Obetz has plenty of Christmastime fun going on this year. From the tree lighting, pictures with Santa, and light displays – there’s seasonal activities going on through the month.

Christmas Kickoff in Obetz

The season kicks off in Obetz on Friday, December 8, 2023 in Lancaster Park with the Tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 pm. Santa will be there for photos, and there will be hot chocolate and cookies to enjoy. Ice skating may be available; weather depending. 

Santa’s Neighborhood Drive

Residents of Obetz can watch Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their reindeer drive through the neighborhoods on Saturday, December 16, starting at 3 pm.

There won’t be specific times for his arrival on different streets, but you can see a map of the routes here when released. 

Light Display in Downtown Obetz

Beginning of December and will remain up through the holidays

Visit Lancaster Park and Veterans Park to enjoy the lighted Christmas figures and other decorations on display through the holidays.

Historic Church Light Display

The historic church will have its holiday lights on full display starting in December and staying up through the holidays.
