National Tequila Day is Thursday, July 24, 2025!

I’m not much of a “shots” person, so I prefer my tequila in a margarita. Do you order your margaritas on the rocks or frozen, salt or sugar? Rocks/salt for me please!

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate, you might as well take advantage of the day’s specials on tequila shots and margaritas.

Keep in mind that some of these are national deals and are only good at participating locations, so you may want to call ahead to see if your local restaurant is participating.

Chuy’s

National Tequila Day Specials: Celebrate with delicious Tex-Mex and world-famous margaritas all day.

Make any of the world-famous regular House Rocks ‘Ritas or House Frozen ‘Ritas a Grande for just $2 more. Also serving up $1 Tequila Floaters and $5 Tequila Shots.

Happy Hour Specials: El Vaquero offers happy hour every day from 4-8 p.m. They also have a unique early happy hour from 2-4 p.m., which features half-price appetizers, including El Vaquero’s bean dip, Queso Fundido con Chorizo, Avocado Rollitos, and Mexican Lettuce Wraps.
