Blue Star Museums is offering free museum admission to more than 2,000 museums across America for active duty service members and families. Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense
The program runs from Saturday, May 18, 2019, Armed Forces Day, and end on Monday, September 2, 2019, Labor Day. If you’re vacationing, run a quick search of the area before creating an itinerary. To search for participating museums, click here.
The free museum admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military. This includes Active Duty, Reservists, National Guardsman, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to 5 family members.
Qualified members must show a military ID. The active duty member does not have to be present if dependent family member has a qualified ID. See details here.
