Fall is here! (even if it is still nearly 80 degrees most days) But it’s here in the sense that all of the awesome fall festivals and activities are starting. The Destination Downtown Lancaster Fall Festival is Saturday, September 22, and is just a 40 minute drive from Columbus. The festival is from 4-11 pm and features activities for the whole family…including pets!
The festival features vendors, lots of food options, Lancaster Handmade Market, Hay Rides, plus kids activities until 7 pm. Stroll the festival while you listen to live music, or stop in to downtown shops and restaurants that will stay open late. There will be food trucks with BBQ and perogis, baked goods, and a craft beer tent, plus local farms on site selling mums, apples, cider, pumpkins, and other seasonal produce and decor.
Bring your dogs to Bark in the Park from 4-7pm in Bandstand Square that will feature Yappy Hour with vendors offering pet products, supplies & services. Adoptable pets should be available to meet. The highlight of Bark in the Park is the Strut Your Mutt Parade. Registration is from 4-6:30 pm in the JFS parking lot, with the parade beginning at 7 pm. Costumes are encouraged and the first 20 registrants will get a free goodie bag.
