It’s that time of year again—Girl Scout Cookie season going on through March! Whether you’re craving Thin Mints, Samoas, or Tagalongs, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to stock up on your favorite cookies while supporting local Girl Scout troops in Columbus.

Also….did you know that there’s a new cookie in town?? Exploremores™ are a Rocky Road ice cream-inspired cookies filled with flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond crème.

Sometimes new cookies go out of stock faster than others, so get them earlier in the season to be safe!

Buy them for yourself, for Valentine’s Day, for teachers, or anyone in your life. These freeze well, so don’t be afraid to buy extra for the future you!

When Can You Buy Girl Scout Cookies?

The 2026 Girl Scout Cookie season in Central Ohio runs from mid-January through March. During this time, you can order online, directly from a Girl Scout you know, or find cookie booths set up at various locations around Columbus.

Where to Find Girl Scout Cookie Booths

If you don’t personally know a Girl Scout, you can still get your cookie fix by visiting one of the many booth sales happening around the city starting in February. Troops will be setting up at grocery stores, shopping centers, and other high-traffic locations throughout Columbus.

Retail locations that usually have troops outside include Kroger, Walmart, Lowes, etc. Most booth sales can accept credit card, Venmo, and Paypal…so don’t let not having cash sway you from purchasing!

Online Orders

Girl Scout cookies can be ordered online! Troops offer online ordering with the option for local delivery or direct shipping. If you know a Girl Scout to order from and they are offering local delivery, you may select that option. If you don’t know the Girl Scout personally, please select direct shipping.

2026 Girl Scout Cookies

Cookies are $6/box for 2026. The lineup (with my own description) includes

• Samoas® – Cookie with caramel, coconut, and chocolate drizzle/bottom
• Tagalongs® – Cookie and peanut butter layer covered in chocolate 
• Adventurefuls® – Crunchy brownie cookie with salted caramel top
• Do-si-dos® – Peanut butter/oat sandwich cookie
• Trefoils® – Simple but tasty shortbread cookie (perfect with tea/coffee) 
• Lemon-Ups® – Crispy lemony cookie
• Exploremores™ – Rocky Road ice cream-inspired cookies filled with flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond crème. 
• Toffee-tastic® GLUTEN-FREE – Shortbread cookie with toffee bits. 

From my personal experience of standing at cookie booths for hours, the 3 most popular are Thin Mints®, Samoas®, and Tagalongs®.
