COVID-19 tests can be really hard to get ahold of lately. Libraries, schools, and other community sources run out as soon as the free COVID-19 test kits are available. Stores sell out of stock immediately, and can be too expensive for some households.
It can be especially frustrating if you are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to someone who tested positive.

However, starting January 19, every home in the U.S. can order four FREE at-home COVID-19 tests. The tests are completely FREE — no cost whatsoever. No credit card or health insurance necessary.
How to get your free COVID-19 test kits
To get your complimentary kits, go to COVIDTests.gov and simply enter your name and address. Tests are expected to ship within seven to 12 days of the order date, according to the White House.
There is no shipping fee. Tests will be sent first-class mail via the U.S. Postal Service.
Tests are limited to four per household, regardless of the number of residents.
