National Museum Day has been postponed due to the threat of COVID-19.
Lose yourself in a great museum this year with FREE admission to one of 1,200 venues in the U.S. during the annual Smithsonian Museum Day Live! on Saturday, April 4, 2020. This is a special year for the event as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of Smithsonian Magazine.
The theme of this year’s Museum Day is “Earth Optimism”, representing a vision, a set of events, and a movement, to showcase a change in focus from the problem to solution, from a sense of loss to one of hope, in the dialogue about conservation and sustainability.
Visit the Museum Day site and select the museum you wish to visit. Enter your information and download your ticket. Each ticket is good for FREE admission for two people at a participating museum for April 4.
The National Museum Day Live ticket is good for two people per household, per address. Limit one ticket per email address.
