Help out the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resource Center Food Pantry and those they serve by joining in for Cranksgiving Columbus this holiday season.
What is Cranksgiving?
It’s a food drive without the drive on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10 am – 2 pm! Cranksgiving combines cycling and charity into a fun event where participants ride their bikes to purchase items that are donated to a local food pantry.
Grab your bike, plus a backpack, basket, bike trailer, or other method to carry the donations, and get rolling to help those in need this holiday season!
Anyone with a bike can participate. When you show up on your bike, they’ll give you a list of Thanksgiving food items to purchase for the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resource Center Food Pantry.
Ride to the local grocery stores, buy whatever you’d like to donate. Carry it by bike back to the food pantry. The suggested stores and the food pantry are all accessible via neighborhood streets and the Olentangy Trail.
Return to the ride start/finish, Combustion Brewing, for some post-ride socializing and fun! There will be raffles and a prize for the person who hauls the most donation by weight with their bike.
