Wilson's Garden Center hosts holiday open house feat. Santa

Wilson’s Garden Center in Newark is hosting the annual Christmas Open House on December 6-7, 2025. They are transforming the space into a winter wonderland filled with festive sights, sounds, and treats.

Christmas Open House Highlights

Holiday Shopping. In addition to fresh greens, holiday and indoor plants, Wilson’s has a large shopping are filled with tons of gifts, including indoor/outdoor decor, personal care items, home goods, kids gifts, and more.

Tasting Lunch Options (Mashtini Bar!!!) Saturday and Sunday, 12 PM to 2 PM. John’s famous grilled cheese sandwiches, perfectly paired with comforting tomato soup. Don’t miss out on the Mashtini bar! Build your own mashed potato creation with toppings like cheese, bacon, sour cream, and chives. While lunch is complimentary, donations for Hospice of Central Ohio are welcomed.

Hot Cocoa Bar & Mulled Cider Enjoy a cup of rich hot cocoa from our delightful Hot Chocolate Bar, where you can customize your drink with a variety of toppings. Alternatively, savor the comforting flavors of our spiced Mulled Cider, perfect for warming up on a chilly winter day.. They are also offering festive workshops to add a creative spark to your holiday season—details on events page. (there are tons of holiday workshops, including super affordable kids’ options)

Santa Claus Visit on Sunday Santa will be there on Sunday, December 7, from 1 PM to 4 PM. Bring the kids for a photo op and the chance to tell Santa their holiday wishes in person. The event is free. Accepting donations to the Salvation Army toy drive to help spread holiday cheer to local families in need.
