New Albany Oktoberfest is a community festival held October 4, 2025 from 12 pm – 4 pm at Rose Run.
Enjoy a lively mix of entertainment, from traditional German music by the Route 161 Happy Wanderers to performances by Joey & Jessica and sets from DJ Tommy Nutter.

Adults can cheer on live OSU and Crew games on the giant screen, test their endurance in the classic Masskrugstemmen (Steinholding Competition), show off their pipes in the yodeling contest, or watch the impressive craftsmanship of SculptDecor’s woodcarving demonstration.
Kids will have plenty to do! They can meet friendly farm animals and learn to make fresh apple cider at the Bring the Farm to You petting zoo and cider station. A full-size carousel offers timeless fun, while face painters and balloon twisters bring extra smiles. Creative kids can make their own “gingerbread heart” at the Lebkuchenherzen craft station (crafted from cardboard to be allergen-safe), and everyone can join in the Stanley Holding Competition—a playful, kid-sized twist on the steinholding challenge!
