Short North Hops on High Holiday Hop
On Saturday December 7, 2024 from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., celebrate the art + soul of the holiday season during the biggest Gallery Hop of the year at Holiday Hop!
Visit your favorite Short North Arts District stores and galleries, enjoy special holiday street performances, and shop from local artisans.
Check out the The High Street Holiday Market at Holiday Hop from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on High Street., which will be closed off for pedestrian-only traffic in segments from Russell Street to W. 2nd Avenue.
In addition to the brick and mortar businesses, there will be 150 street market vendors will be on hand to offer creative and diverse holiday items.
Holiday Hop features
– Holiday Tree Sales From Oakland Nurseries, with a share of proceeds benefiting charity.
– Free Gift Wrapping At The FIG Room in exchange for donations to Dress for Success.
– Toys for Tots Drive At Rock City Church, in partnership with ABC6.
– Ice Carving and More Ice carving by Sculptdecor, plus visits from Santa and holiday decor.
– Festive Street Performances – Live music throughout all event hours and a community sing-along at 7 p.m.
– Hot Beverages – Complimentary drinks, eggnog tasting and more from a variety of partners.
– Holiday Fashion – “Fashion Is Holiday” brought to you by Columbus Fashion Alliance

Short North Arts District Holiday Trail

Buy local with the Short North Arts District Holiday Trail from November 25 through December 31, 2023 to support small business!
Shoppers can complete the Holiday Trail by making three purchases at participating businesses to receive a free a 12 oz. latte from Roaming Goat Coffee (849 N. High St.) OR choose between a free Northstar Hot Chocolate or Hot Apple Cider from Northstar Cafe (951 N. High St.).
Holiday Trail cards and stickers will be available at participating businesses Nov. 18 through Dec. 31 (or print yours online).
Short North Arts District Elf Trail
TBA for 2024
New this year, children under 12 are invited to embark on the Short North Arts District Elf Trail and collect stickers for finding hidden “Elf on the Shelf” dolls.
Accumulating stickers from three businesses will also earn participants a free hot beverage at participating shops.
For the first time this holiday season, neighborhood businesses will also offer Short North Arts District Lil’ Shops, a selection of items under $20 for kid-friendly shopping. Details and shops here.
Short North Holiday Window Display
Cast a vote in the Short North Holiday Window Display contest! Over 20 businesses will deck their windows to compete for a prize and bragging rights.
The public can vote for their favorite window display via the Short North Arts District social media from Friday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 3.
