If you’re into handmade gifts, fine art, and crafts, you must visit the Ohio Craft Museum in Grandview Heights for holiday gifts at the Gifts of the Craftsmen Holiday Exhibition and Sale from November 3 through December 23.
This sale features one-of-a-kind and limited-edition jewelry, ceramics, art glass, clothing and more, all made in America by fine craft artists. It’s a unique holiday shopping experience featuring new artists and long-time favorites. You can check out the online gallery here.
The museum is kicking off the Gifts of the Craftsmen with a free public reception on Sunday, November 5, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Guests will have the first opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind and limited-edition gifts while the selection is at its peak.
Drop off the kids for Holiday Gift-Making Workshops on Friday, December 20 or Saturday, December 21 at 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. or 1:30–4:30 p.m. It’s a great option for the start of winter break for students in grades 1 – 6. They will make 2 gifts and wrap them before they leave. Parents can run errands or visit Gifts of the Craftsmen. Class fee: $25, includes all supplies. Space is limited and these classes fill fast! The museum also houses the Craft Research Library and offers educational workshops and events for all ages and levels of experience. They also offer free parking and a gift shop with affordable handmade gifts of fine art and craft.
