Columbus College of Art & Design is one of the oldest private, nonprofit art and design colleges in the United States.
CCAD offers 11 BFA programs, a Master of Fine Arts, and a Master of Professional Studies in Retail Design, and they also do a fantastic job at connecting with the community through events.

CCAD hosts arts fairs and exhibitions throughout the year that are open to the public. These events give the students an opportunity to share their creativeness, and allows the shoppers to take home unique art, fashion, and more from up-and-coming artists.
MFA Thesis Exhibition
Thursday, March 30–Saturday, April 22, 2023
Opening reception: 6–8 p.m. Thursday, March 30
Admission: Free
The celebration kicks off when the Columbus College of Art & Design presents the culmination of work by its second-year Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts candidates. From traditional media and practices such as photography, painting, and ceramics to the use of such unexpected materials as cleansing towelettes and hair extensions, this year’s master’s degree candidates have tapped into wide-ranging resources in the creation of their pieces.
Expect to see such themes as ecosystems, beauty and destruction, chronic illness, mental illness, grief, the passage of time, Black culture, and the body as a living history in their works. Click here for a full list of this year’s artists.
