Balletmet 2026/2027 season
The 49th Season will feature seven ballets, including Future Icons, Marilyn, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, For the Love of Dance 2.0, My First Sleeping Beauty and CARMEN.maquia.
Future Icons: A BalletMet Choreographic Project: Sept. 10-12, 2026
Opens the season with three new works created by emerging choreographers selected through an international competition.
Marilyn: Oct. 16-24, 2026
The story of Marilyn Monroe through ballet, exploring both the glamour of her fame and the woman behind the icon.
The Nutcracker: Dec. 10-27, 2026
Featuring BalletMet’s professional dancers and academy students in the beloved holiday classic.
Swan Lake: Feb. 19-21, 2027
New world-premiere production by Edwaard Liang Wörtmeyer, with live music by the Columbus Symphony.
For the Love of Dance 2.0: April 2-10, 2027
Three contemporary ballets, including the Columbus premiere of William Forsythe’s In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated and two additional modern works.
My First Sleeping Beauty: April 17-18, 2027
One-hour, sensory-friendly ballet for children ages 3 and older, introducing young audiences to the classic fairy tale.
CARMEN.maquia: May 14-22, 2027
Closes the season with a modern, visually striking interpretation of Bizet’s classic opera, choreographed by Gustavo Ramírez Sansano.
Balletmet tickets
Single tickets for The Nutcracker will go on sale July 1, and single tickets for all other productions will go on sale Aug. 1. Ohio Theatre single ticket pricing ranges from $38.65-$121.60 and Davidson single ticket pricing ranges from $36.65- $102.80

Senior Dress Rehearsals
Seniors ages 55+ can purchase tickets to special senior dress rehearsal performances.

Rush Ticket Program
The Rush Ticket Program now includes teachers as well as college students, and those with a valid school ID can purchase $15 tickets to any show.
Pay What You Want performances
The Pay What You Want nights allow attendees to purchase discounted tickets to select performances on a first-come, first-serve basis. The price attendees choose to pay will support BalletMet productions, education, and scholarships.

Seats are available on a first come, first served basis. Purchase tickets at the theatre box office on the day of the show. The box office opens 2 hours prior to show time.
Purchase both Rush and Pay What You Want tickets at the theatre box office two hours prior to the performance.
Columbus Metropolitan Library Culture Pass
A limited number of Culture Passes are available at all CML library branches and are good for all BalletMet performances.
Passes are good for two free tickets to the performance of your choice. Redeem tickets at the theatre box office two hours prior to the show time on the day you are attending.
