Fun at Young’s Jersey Dairy

Young’s Jersey Dairy is a must-see attraction in Central, Ohio. It’s located in Yellow Springs, Ohio, which is less than an hour west of Columbus, which makes it perfect for a day trip.

They host seasonal events and activities throughout the year, and there’s always plenty to explore…plus, Ice Cream!

Yellow Springs is an adorable free-spirited town with shops, restaurants, and more – plus plenty of hiking in Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve and John Bryan State Park. 

Young’s Jersey Dairy

The history of the farm dates back to 1869, and they started selling milk to the public in 1958. Young’s Jersey Dairy has been serving the public ever since!

Young’s Jersey Dairy is open every day of the year, except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Farm Animal Petting Area & Barn

Open 11am-6pm Daily. Families can also visit with the resident goats and other farm animals.

The Dairy Store at Young’s Jersey Dairy

When you work up an appetite, you can head into The Dairy Store for  breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as Young’s homemade ice cream, seven days a week. Find menu and details online.

Monday-Friday 3pm to 5pm – All Cowshakes & Bullshakes at The Dairy Store are $1.50 off Mon-Fri 3 pm to 5 pm.

Udders and Putters

Udders & Putters Mini Golf, Driving Range + Batting Cages – Open daily 10am-9pm

Moovers & Shakers, Cowvin’s Kiddie Corral + Cowvin’s Fast Slide – Open daily 11am – 6pm

Batting Cages – Open mid-March through October (weather permitting – 40° plus temperature. We can operate under light rain conditions)

Udders & Putters – an 18-hole, farm theme miniature golf course.  1995 marked the first year for our driving range.  1996 saw the addition of a state of the art 9 position batting cage which features softball and hardball pitching machines.

Memorial Day Weekend

Celebrate Memorial Day at Young’s. Carnival Rides will be available in the gravel lot north of the dairy store during Memorial Day Weekend!

Tickets are $1.25 each or $20 for 20 tickets (number of tickets per ride varies), $25 for all-day pass
Rides require 3-5 tickets each, depending on the ride. Carnival wristbands are not valid for Young’s Entertainment

Cowvin’s Corny Maze Playland

August 1-October 26, 2026

Opens for weekends, then daily starting September 20 from 11am-6pm. Find your way through the 3.5 acre cornfield with twists, turns, and dead ends. $10 a person age 5 and older. Age 4 and under are free. Price includes a wagon ride to and from the maze.

Labor Day Family Value Weekend

September 4-7, 2026

A special value wristband is good for all day unlimited family fun over Labor Day weekend. Play Udders & Putters miniature golf, batting cages, driving range, Moovers & Shakers, Cowvin’s Fast Slide, Cowvin’s Kiddie Corral, Cowvin’s Corny Maze, and Wagon Ride on the Farm.

Annual Wool Gathering

September 19-20, 2026

Observe sheep, llamas, alpacas, cashmere goats, Angora rabbits and other wool-bearing animals at the show. There will be shearing demonstrations, wool spinning, weaving and much more to see and learn.

There are over 100 vendors from several surrounding states. Admission to this event is free. 

Fall Farm Pumpkin Fun

September 19-November 1, 2026

MOO-IT-ALL Wristband – $27.50; $20.50 for 11 and under

For just one price, this pass grants you: the joy of hand-picking your very own pumpkin from our Pick Your Own Pumpkin patch, a ticket to navigate the twists and turns of Cowvin’s Corny Maze & Playland, and a delicious two-dip waffle cone filled with our famous Homemade Ice Cream.

Pumpkins of all sizes (starting under $3), gourds, and Indian corn are also on display for purchase. Lots of fall treats will be available too! Details.

Family Haunted Wagon Rides

Thursday, Friday, Saturday Nights September 25- October 31, 2026

Haunted Wagon Ride and Scary Stories are designed for families with children from 7:30 pm-10 pm. It’ll be scary, but no touching, grabbing, or chasing. The ride goes into a dark cornfield with monsters and goblins. There are chainsaws (without the chains!), boo’s and other scary things going on.

$19 for adults and children ages 6 and older. Ages five and under are $9.

Clark County Retired Teachers Car Show

October 18, 2025

Registration starts at 10am; awards at 3 pm. Supports updating Clark County’s historic one-room schoolhouse, supplies and period clothing for the students’ living history.

Barnabe’s Buckeye Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join us at Young’s Jersey Dairy on November 22nd for Barnabe’s Buckeye Tree Lighting Ceremony from 5pm to 7:30pm, featuring Santa, Barnabe, holiday treats, music, and the lighting of the Buckeye tree at 6:30pm!

Cut your own Christmas Trees: After Thanksgiving-Until Sold Out

Search for the perfect tree to cut down at the 30 acre farm or select a freshly cut tree. They will shake, wrap and load your tree for you. Gift shop has tree stands, ornaments and gifts along many other items.

Located just south of Young’s Jersey Dairy — look for the little red tree barn next to Route 68. Monday – Friday 11am – 5:30pm. Saturday & Sunday 9am – 5:30pm Reservations required.
