Nine days of beer. Columbus knows beer, and it’s going to prove it with Columbus Craft Beer Week presented by Giant Eagle from May 1-9, 2020. As one of the largest craft beer cities in the Midwest, Columbus has a lot to say about beer. Ohio breweries, restaurants, bars, and craft beer retailers will be celebrating with over 200 events across the city for Columbus Craft Beer Week. There will be special brew releases, tap takeovers, food and beer pairings, brewer Q&A’s, home-brew sessions, and more.
The week starts with an official opening party at Market District Grandview Yard on May 1 from 6 – 10 pm.
There are tons of events all through the week, but the main event kickoff party is the Six One Pour: The Ohio Craft Beer Fest at on Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 6-9 pm. Six One Pour will take place at COSI with 50 Ohio craft breweries on hand sampling local beer. There will also be live music and food available for purchase. Tickets for Six One Pour are $45-$65, and $15 for designated drivers. Need a ride? Get $5 off 1 Lyft ride to or from any CCBW event with the code CRAFTBEERCBUS
Don’t miss all of the events before and after Six One Pour; if you have a favorite beer spot, they are probably hosting an event. Check out the Columbus Craft Beer Week events here once we are closer to the event.
If you can’t get to as many events as you’d like this week, you can make stops at Central Ohio Breweries on Columbus Ale Trail over the next year. Pick up a Brew Book and hit all of the stops for some rewards and GREAT beer!
