The Annual Short North Highball Halloween has combined with Hops on High for an entire day of Fall and Halloween fun on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

It’s earlier in the month than usual, so it’s time to get started on your Highball costume!

The reimagined Hops on High featuring HighBall Halloween transforms High Street into a pedestrian-only fall festival that blends everything people have come to love about Hops on High with the creativity, fashion and spectacle that made HighBall Halloween a Columbus tradition.

Live music, pop-up performances and main stage entertainment
A collective gallery showcase featuring Short North galleries
The return of the HighBall Halloween Costume Couture Fashion Show
A new Costume Call Out, where standout attendees can walk the runway before the fashion show
A neighborhood-wide Trick-or-Treat Trail through participating businesses for families and visitors of all ages.

The new format brings the artistry and spectacle of HighBall Halloween into a broader open-streets celebration, creating more ways for attendees of all ages to experience the creative community throughout the day.

Costume contests, band, and activity schedule will be available on the website closer to the event.
