Does anyone NOT love soup? It’s Ohio, it’s cold, and soup is SO good – and we’re in luck! Columbus is celebrating its first-ever SoupWeek from Sunday – January 31st to Saturday – February 6th, 2021!
Stay safe and celebrate SoupWeek at home and online this year! Over 40 local Columbus restaurants are serving up their best soup for you to order. The online fun includes a virtual SoupBox fundraiser and an Instagram Live concert series.
Eat Soup!
Make your favorite soup to enjoy at home during SoupWeek, or try a new recipe! Considering supporting the local restaurant industry by ordering soup from one of the 40+ participating restaurants. See the full list here. Available soups will also be featured on SoupWeek social media, so if you can’t decide, look for some insp on Instagram or Facebook.
Order a SoupBox!
The SoupBox 2021 fundraising package is like a swag bag sent directly to your home! Get recipes from past SoupFest champs, t-shirt, a mug, an art print, necklace, and so much more! You’ll love the designs on the swag! There’s a limited quantity available, and a portion of proceeds to NSI Food Pantry, a Columbus food assistance organization that distributed 750k meals in 2020. Each SoupBox order provides 40 meals to those in need. There’s also really awesome gear available for purchase with featured soup recipes for each.
SoupFest Live
Since SoupFest can’t be held as an in-person festival, they are bringing the music to you virtually. Don’t miss the lineup of renowned music and performing artists. You’ll catch the performances via Instagram LIVE with @SoupFest614 from Feb. 4th to 6th. SoupFest hosts, Evan Harris and Jake Sekas, will be collecting live donations between sets from a makeshift telethon studio. Proceeds from the livestream collection will benefit Neighborhood Services Inc.
SoupWeek is raising funds to support The Miklós Battaglia Fund, named for the organization’s late co-founder, Nick “Miklós” Battaglia. Last year with help from SoupFest 2020, the fund was able to donate over $12,000 to community efforts related to food scarcity and homelessness.

Do you have a favorite soup? I honestly don’t know if I can pick one type, but if you have any suggestions or recipes, leave them in the comments!

I agree! That would be helpful! They have been featuring some on social media, but I don’t think there’s a list anywhere.
I wish the restaurants would have listed their featured soup. I would have been more tempted then.
