Looking for a free way to explore local history? The Dublin Historical Society invites visitors to its seasonal Coffman Homestead Open House events. Guests can tour one of central Ohio’s best-preserved 19th-century farmsteads.
The Fletcher Coffman Homestead offers a glimpse into life on an Ohio farm during the Civil War era. The restored brick farmhouse, built between 1862 and 1867, is furnished with original Coffman family pieces and other period antiques.
Visitors can also explore the historic barn, agricultural exhibits, a replica one-room schoolhouse, and an heirloom garden featuring apple trees descended from one planted by Johnny Appleseed.
