National Teddy Bear Day: Build-a-Bear for $5.50

The news is rough these days…with devastation in Houston, worry for Florida, and well, the state of our world.  Even kids can use some extra comfort with the stress of starting back to school, and getting back in a routine (plus, let’s face it…the news negatively affects them too).  Cuddle up with a (on the cheap) teddy bear for comfort for National Teddy Bear Day on Saturday, September 9.  Build-a-Bear is handling the on-the-cheap part of that by offering full-size, limited-edition National Teddy Bear Day Build-a-Bears for just $5.50 on Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9.

You can expect lines, so get there early if you can!  You can always purchase the bears unstuffed (the “skins”) and come back another day to stuff them when it is less chaotic.  Tax is additional. Limit of 5 limited-edition bears per guest, while supplies last.

Build-a-Bear Workshop will also offer Traditional Cocoa Bear online on Friday and Saturday for $10.50. It’s normally $25.50.  You can even order it “unstuffed” and head into the store another day to enjoy the fun of stuffing it for no additional charge!  It’s a great way to save without standing in line for the $5.50 bears.  Don’t forget to sign up for and order through Ebates, as you’ll get 3% cash back at Build-a-Bear.
