Marcus Theatres is celebrating 90 years of movie magic with a tasty treat for film fans—free popcorn!
From September 19–25, every moviegoer who buys a ticket at Marcus Theatres or Movie Tavern will receive a free junior popcorn (44 oz).
Fun fact: popcorn was once eaten as a cereal with milk and sugar, and during WWII Americans tripled their popcorn consumption due to sugar shortages.

Best Picture Showcase and Marathon at Marcus Theatres
TBA 2026. Marcus Theatres and Movie Tavern are proud to showcase this year’s Best Picture nominees, along with both animated and live-action shorts! Experience this season’s best films on the big screen.
The Best Picture Passport entitles the passport holder to see each film at any theatre hosting the showcase! Options include an All Access Passport for every film in the showcase for $70* or a Pick 4 Passport for $28*. Individual tickets can be purchased for the best picture nominees as well.

Best Picture Marathon
Crosswoods Cinema will also be hosting 2025 Best Picture Marathons on TBA 2026. Each nominated Best Picture film will play in a marathon format across two dates.
