Hosted by Leadership Ohio in Partnership with Columbus Metropolitan Library
Across the country, people are wondering: What happened to America? Have we lost touch with our neighbors and shared destiny? If so, what is the cause? And most urgently: What can we do to come together?
We warmly invite you, your friends and family, schools and workplaces, faith organizations, and communities to join us for a free event featuring the powerful new documentary “Join or Die”. Based on the groundbreaking research of Ohioan Robert Putnam, author of Bowling Alone, this film underscores the crucial role of clubs and civic organizations in fostering community and strengthening democracy.
Attendees will enjoy the documentary screening, participate in meaningful discussions, and connect with local groups through a community club fair to be part of the solution.
Join In: Uniting Communities in Ohio is funded in part by the America 250-Ohio Commission.
