Every Brilliant Thing is a play by Duncan McMillan with Jonny Donahoe. It starts off as a story about a young girl whose mother struggles with depression.
The little girl starts to make a list of everything that’s worth living for. 1. Ice cream. 2. Kung Fu movies. 3. Burning things. 4. Laughing so hard you shoot milk out your nose. 5. Construction cranes. Soon the list takes on a whole life of its own.
This is a joyful play about depression and the lengths we will go for the ones we love. Told in collaboration with the audience. Audience seating for this intimate play will take place on the stage of the Amphitheater, so no weather worries. You will be covered. Brilliant!
