Delaware County District Library is made up of 5 branches and two Maker Studios.
The library serves the community by providing free resources, entertainment, programming, gathering space, and access to technology. It encourages reading, learning, community discussion, and supports lifelong discovery.

Join Friends of the Library to get more involved and enjoy special benefits. They host book sales and children’s and adult events, while helping to fund special activities.
Friends of the Library members get admission discounts, discount on a bag of books, first chance to purchase tickets for select events, and more. to support the Delaware County District Library programs & servicesMemberships and donations are tax-deductible.

Noon Year’s Eve

Delaware County Library Book Sales
The library hosts multiple book sales at two branches throughout the year – timed perfect to stock up for each season!
Media (DVDs, CDs) are $1 or 6 for $5.
Books are $1 for childrens, $1 for paperbacks, $2 for hardbacks.
Purchase a Friends of DCDL bag and fill it with books for $25. Bring it back to future sales and refill it for $20. Friends of DCDL members get a discount on the bag purchase and refill prices.
