How to best use Amazon Subscribe & Save

Amazon’s Subscribe & Save program (S&S) is a great way to save on everyday essentials by setting up automatic deliveries. You can schedule regular shipments for items like household products, pet supplies, and groceries, often at a discounted price.

Not only can you save up to 15% when you subscribe to five or more items in a month, but you also enjoy the convenience of having these products delivered right to your door without worrying about reordering. 

Amazon will always notify you via email about your upcoming shipment, and you can skip delivery on certain (or all) products for that month, or easily cancel your subscription. 

I will often order snack items, beauty, and household products for subscribe and save when there is an ADDITIONAL coupon discount on the first S&S order (sometimes up to 35% off!). I’ll cancel after receiving the first order, and wait to order again once there’s another coupon available. This is a great way to save if you are open to using different brands!

It’s no surprise to me that some of my top sellers in 2025 are some of MY favorite items! Looks like they are yours too!

1. My favorite eyeliner (I like Mushroom – it’s a perfect subtle neutral color for day or night)
2. I don’t have a Skylight calendar…yet. But people LOOOOVE this thing, and there have been some great sales on it (still going on). We have another system that we use now, but I could see myself upgrading to this at some point, and even know exactly where it would go.
3. Living in Ohio, these Quitch patches were key to our summertime comfort. I am an mosquito magnet, and this helped relieved some of the itching and mindless scratching. I’ve used them for occasional random hive spots, that seem to have come on during midlife.
4. Another negative about Ohio….the ticks. We have way too many encounters with ticks (including a bout with Lyme disease), so I am tick paranoid. These Tick Twisters ACTUALLY work to remove the whole tick without pain or, squeezing/ breaking off the tick, like has happened with tweezers. In October I had a tick in a tricky spot and was able to remove it myself with the Tick Twister – I’ve struggled with tweezers in the past.
5. This Julep Eyeshadow 101 Cream-to-Powder Waterproof Shadow Stick in Champagne Shimmer is the perfect anytime shadow that’s just enough color that I look like I tried, and basically impossible to mess up. A little smudge of the Urban Decay eyeliner mentioned above, and this shadow stick is enough for 98% of my outings. and if I need a little more, I add this shadow stick in Taupe Shimmer in/above the crease and outer edge of my eyelid. I have several other colors of the shadow stick – the go on sale fairly frequently, so put it in your cart and wait until it’s on sale (it IS on sale at this moment though).
6. I’ve bought so many Owala water bottles this year, as they seem to be a favorite gift for preteen/teens. I personally like this slimmer version, and it’s a fun change for kids who already have too many of the original version.
7. Ok…I haven’t read this book, but it’s talked about of a bunch of podcasts, so I get the premise. It’s soooo popular and probably worth the read! I personally just am not a book buyer and prefer to read them through the Libby app and/or from the library.
8. We are big Creatine fans in our house, so this is set up through Subscribe and Save for sure. It’s not just for body-builders anymore! Research is showing major benefits for everyone. I find it super easy to take – I just mix it with water in my water bottle.
9. I love Dawn Powerwash for so many things, and keep a bottle at the kitchen sink, utility sink, and the washing machine. Thanks to white baseball pants, and another kid who plays reeeeeal hard at recess, I’ve removed many many stains with this. Works great for dishes, and the foam sprayer seems to make it last longer than regular detergent!
10. I don’t have these headphones yet (I’m an airpods fan), but everyone else seems to love these! And I’m sure once my kids know about headphone trends and better headphones, I’m sure these will start popping up on their lists.
