This Summer spend some time at the Ohio Theatre for the 50th Annual CAPA Summer Movie Series! Don’t miss your chance to see these great films on the big screen in America’s longest running classic film series.
The 2019 Series will run June 14 – August 11 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State Street) and feature 22 films over eight weeks. As part of its 50th anniversary year-long celebration, admission for all showings during opening weekend, June 14-16 are 50¢. In addition, admission to the Cartoon Capers program on Saturday, July 27, is free with a Columbus Metropolitan Library card.

Ohio Theatre Tours
Have you ever seen the flying horses in the Ohio Theatre? Did you know that the Grateful Dead helped save the theatre? Learn the storied history of this magnificent theatre with a free, guided tour, complete with a light show and organ demonstration on the “Mighty Morton” theatre organ. Space is limited, so reservations are required and each tour will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. All tours start at 4 pm.
