Support a local Columbus team in the fight against cancer this Saturday, August 7, 2010, with the Pink Tie Affair! Team “I Heart Jess” is hosting an evening of dinner, music, and silent and live auctions at the St. Cecilia Church in Columbus, Ohio, to support their trip to walk in the 60 mile Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the CureTM in Washington, D.C. this October.
For just $25 per person or $40 per couple, you’ll enjoy dinner, 2 drinks each, live swing band entertainment, dancing, and chances to bid on many fabulous action items. There will be a cash bar for additional drinks. You may also purchase a table of 8 for $160 or sponsor “in memory of” for $50. Tickets are sold in advance only and will be picked up at the event. Team IHEARTJESS was formed by three local friends Alli, Amy, and Jessica to represent Columbus, Ohio in the 3 day race. Jessica was diagnosed with cancer at age 25 in 2009, two years after her mother passed away from a 10 year battle with cancer. Jessica is currently in remission and needs your help to reach the team pledge of $7000 for the race. Please support and donate to their fundraising by attending our date night/ family night of entertainment!
